Come and meet the world’s fastest land animals.Cheetah, Penguin & Wine Tour Did you know?
Evolution of cheetahs can be traced back 4 million years.
Cheetahs are an endangered species.Less than 1000 in South Africa and less than 7500 in the world. Cheetahs need to eat and often their meal of choice is livestock like sheep. Cheetah Outreach breeds and trains Anatolian shepherd dogs, who have for centuries guarded flocks of sheep from predators such as cheetahs. Once trained, these dogs are given to farmers, ensuring that cheetahs find other sources of food and farmers can retain their livelihood. Funding for the breeding and training of these dogs, comes from the people who visit the Cheetah Outreach. You can get up close to these magnificent cats and learn all sorts of interesting facts about them. At a small extra charge, you can even get photographs of yourself touching a cheetah or handling a fluffy cub.
Tour guides at the facility are very passionate and knowledgeable. Happy to answer any questions that visitors may have about cheetahs.Cheetah Outreach not only provides employment opportunities for locals. But also excellent opportunities for South African and international volunteers. So come and meet these speedy predators and help contribute to the survival of the specie.

Whale ,Cheeetah & Wine Tour. Spend a memorable day driving along the picture-perfect coastal route towards Hermanus. Looking out for the majestic creatures of the deep Southern Right Whale, along the way. Taste wine in the Helderberg area.
Start the day with a beautiful drive along the picturesque Cape coastline. Passing through Gordon’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty’s Bay en route to Hermanus. Famous drive is aptly named the “Whale Route” because it is known to have the best land-based whale watching in the world. Majestic Southern Right whale can be spotted year round but are seen in abundance between June and November when they come to breed and calve. We can’t guarantee you’ll see a whale in the ocean but we can guarantee you’ll see one on the label at Southern Right boutique winery.
. As one of the top destinations for whale-watching, Hermanus is perfectly positioned to offer best viewing directly from the shore. You will be able to watch as these giants of the deep frolic in the waves. It is here that you can enjoy lunch at your own discretion. Once you’ve invested in some great food and coffee, it’s off to a wine tasting at Hamilton Russell in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Estate specialises in producing highly individual, terroir driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which are widely regarded as some of the best in South Africa and among the best in the New World.
Next stop will be Southern Right. Founded by Anthony Hamilton Russell in 1994. Southern Right’s aim is to produce a serious, age-worthy Pinotage. And with each bottle sold, they make a contribution to the conservation of these majestic mammals.. Your last stop will be to the Whalehaven boutique winery. Whalehaven creates a delightful array of hand-crafted wines that tantalize the palate. And has gained a strong reputation for its French-styled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Ahoy!
